OUR LATEST PROJECT! SUPERCHARGED LS7 MAKES 811 HP/824 LB-FT!

Thomson Automotive recently partnered with North Carolina's Classic Automotive Restoration Specialists to build an engine for their new Camaro SS and ended up with one of our best-performing combinations ever – an LS7-based 7.0-liter engine with a Harrop 2300 TVS blower that made 811 horsepower through stock exhaust manifolds! Better still, it made HUGEtorque: 824 lb-ft at only 3900 rpm!

Except for that classic blower whine, there's little to give away this engine's big power secret when it's started. We used a camshaft that enables great airflow, but doesn't sacrifice drivability. This engine starts, idles and delivers the low-speed drivability of a stock engine. But, once you get into the boost – which is pretty darn early in the rpm band – hold on, because this engine turns into a monster!

To ensure those 800+ horses gallop reliably, we build the rotating assembly with all-forged parts (including boost-friendly 9.0:1 pistons) and install a piston oil-squirting system, similar to what GM includes with the factory-supercharged ZR1 engine.

No, this engine isn't a bargain rebuild, but if you want huge power and torque for your 2010 Camaro, classic '68 Camaro or just about any other engine swap project you've got, we can build one for you.
